Baraja is changing the world of self-driving cars through the invention of a new type of LiDAR called Spectrum-Scan™ that delivers ultra-high performance at high resolution, even at incredibly far distances. Today, Baraja LiDAR is already deployed in multiple verticals, working with global automotive and industrial partners.

We are looking for an IT System and Support Engineer to join our Information Technology Team. You will be responsible for providing Level 1, 2 and 3 hardware and software support to the company, evaluating, planning, and contributing to key software and infrastructure deployments, and providing maintenance for both On-Premises and Cloud solutions. 


Key Responsibilities: 

·         Levels 1, 2, 3 and Desktop Support  

·         Maintain and support cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)  

·         Domain implementation, support, maintenance, and migration  

·         Maintain Microsoft Cloud Productivity Suite (Office 365, SharePoint, MS Teams Video and Voice)  

·         Network Infrastructure Support and Maintenance (Network infrastructure, DNS, VPN, QoS, LAN/VLAN, Network Security)  

·         Onboard and offboard employees with appropriate IT equipment  

·         Create Support Knowledge documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences  

·         Maintain software and hardware Asset Inventory  

·         Vendor engagement for Hardware and Software purchasing and support  

·         Engage key business stakeholders to investigate, understand and resolve issues and requests 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience 

·         Current permit to work full time in Australia on an ongoing basis  

·         Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role  

·         Experience with both Active Directory and Azure Active Directory  

·         Experience supporting and maintaining On Prem and Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)  

·         Enterprise network management skills (VLANs, QoS, DNS, VPN, Security)  

·         Experience in supporting Microsoft's Cloud Productivity Suite including MS Teams and SharePoint 


It would be awesome if you also have: 

·         Software development experience (particularly Python, C#, PowerShell or similar)  

·         Real world experience with enterprise security implementation and policies  

·         Experience within a start-up or similar fast-paced environment with customer-driven products.  

·         IT Support role experience in a regulated environment (medical, automotive, defence, rail).
