The Opportunity
 
We are looking for an Electronic Engineer to join our growing Technology Development team, inventing and designing technology to be in next-generation LiDAR. Reporting to the Platform Engineering Manager you will be responsible for advanced electronic engineering of LiDAR products from concept, design, testing and manufacture, including debugging and improvements. The role is split into advanced electronic design (40%), testing and support of electronic test systems (50%) and design reviews (10%).

 

Inside the Job

·       Electronic Engineering Design – analog, digital, high speed, EMI/EMC, power

·       Characterization of analog circuitry including amplifier chains, filtering, and photodiode bias circuits

·       Ensure PCB boards are reviewed & produced to meet project timelines

·       Bring up of new PCBAs to verify they meet design specifications

 

About You

·       Experience with analog electronic design and verification

·       Proven ability to come up with innovative solutions to technical electronic problems

·       It would be awesome if you have:

·       Tertiary qualifications in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline

·       Experience with high speed digital design and power electronics

·       Work in a startup or other time critical project

·       Scripting knowledge and experience (eg. Python)

·       Working / current skills in eCAD, architecture development, uC, FPGA, ARM
